How are Mike and Shannon doing?

Mike’s anxiety is much better now that he has been on zoloft for a month or so. Apparently this is what he needs. Shannon has been on zoloft for half her life, I think. I suppose it is supplying something their bodies need, and it doesn’t seem to have bad side effects.
Shannon is proceeding with NAET. No news to report on that yet.
Hep B vaccine confers three-fold risk of autism according to study

The authors concluded,”Boys who received the hepatitis B vaccine during the first month of life had 2.94 greater odds for ASD (autism spectrum disorders) compared to later- or unvaccinated boys.” Odds were higher for African-Americans than for whites.

I certainly hope that someone does some research soon examining the possible environmental triggers, including exposure to so many vaccines. (The research that has been going on is underfunded and focusing on genetics rather than environment.)
We need to know what is causing this. It is a disaster.
Child just diagnosed with autism?

The doctors’ line: we don’t know what causes autism, but we’re working on it, so be patient and in 25 or 30 years we’ll have some research answers. In the meantime, take some drugs.
The parents’ line: let’s figure out what helps and treat our kids. Let’s minimize the drugs. Let’s take a good look at the overwhelming anecdotal evidence, which points to some kind of link to vaccines.
