I have three brags to report for The Dog Snatcher, Book 1 of my chapter book series for ages 8-11. Drum roll please!

1. The Dog Snatcher was named a finalist for this year’s Selah Award for Christian Fiction, Middle Grade. This is a prestigious award given by the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. See the lovely new finalist seal on the cover?
2. I sold this book and others at three homeschool conventions this spring: Missouri, Ohio, and Illinois. Several kids came up to me and told me how much they liked reading it. It’s very cool to have fans!
3. Lorehaven, an e-zine reviewing Christian fantasy-sci fi fiction, reviewed it. “The Dog Snatcher is a light and pleasing sci-fi tale with interest and heart.” Read more…
